Mr. Dobbie began his career with Dowco Consultants Ltd. shortly after completing his undergraduate degree at the University of British Columbia in 1990. Since that time, he has managed the Company’s Construction Technology Software Division, and has also led the global 3D modeling detailing and BIM services operations. He draws heavily on a diverse background and hands-on experience in positioning the Dowco Group as the leading global provider of comprehensive, end-to-end pre-construction services for clients in design, construction, construction management, and related fields. Mr. Dobbie is frequently asked to deliver presentations and speak before the continent’s leading construction industry trade associates, particularly in the areas of BIM and evolving design and construction processes and workflows.
Mr. Dobbie is widely considered one of the leading BIM thought leaders within the AEC industry. For the past decade Mr. Dobbie’s vision for Dowco has been a global IT enabled 3D construction modeling, detailing, pre-construction and BIM services company having the ability to mobilize cost effective project resources from around the world to collaborate in the ‘Project Cloud’ in real time.

Mike has a strong passion for construction and over 19 years of experience specializing in concrete and wood frame projects. Mike is an adaptable, goal-oriented professional that envisages long-term collaboration and working relationships. His ability to multitask in the fast-paced construction environment and relate to field personnel makes him very approachable. He also has experience working on remote sites and in difficult conditions, which makes him a very diversified manager. Previously, Mike served as a Senior Project Manager at Marcon, where he successfully led multiple high-profile projects. His leadership underscores his capability in managing large teams and complex project timelines.

Born in the United Kingdom, Andrew Waltho embarked on a path to become an electrician early on. His dedication and commitment led him to successfully complete his studies in the field, equipping him with a strong technical foundation and a comprehensive understanding of electrical systems. Driven by a desire to tackle increasingly challenging projects, Andrew Waltho swiftly climbed the ranks in his career. He soon found himself at the helm, leading a team of skilled electricians on large-scale commercial endeavors, including prestigious projects in the healthcare sector like hospitals. This experience not only honed his leadership skills but also showcased his ability to coordinate complex operations and ensure the seamless execution of projects.
Seeking new horizons and a fresh professional challenge, Andrew Waltho made a significant decision in early 2022 by relocating to Canada.

Bogdan is a Construction Project Manager with extensive experience serving commercial and residential clients. He brings to Dawn a proven ability in coordinating and managing various types of work to meet client specifications and needs. Bogdan has a Bachelor of Technology in Construction Management, and a Bachelor of Economics in Industrial Management.

Ana is tremendous experience estimating residential, commercial, and healthcare construction projects. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, and a Building Construction Associate Certificate from BCIT.
Ethann McNeill is a seasoned Site Superintendent with extensive experience in residential framing and project management. Before joining Dawn Construction in 2023, he successfully ran his own start-up, Home Heroes, specializing in residential contracting. Since transitioning to Dawn Construction, Ethann has overseen several high-profile projects, including the North Vancouver Courthouse, North Island College Science Lab renovations, and CIBC bank renovations in Surrey. His hands-on approach, combined with strong communication and leadership skills, has earned him an excellent rapport with tradespeople, project owners, and consultants. Ethann’s dedication to quality and efficiency consistently delivers exceptional project outcomes.

Dana offers extensive experience in the construction industry as a retail/commercial/industrial site superintendent. Specializing in tilt concrete with experience in pre-engineered structural steel and tenant improvements. Knowledgeable and motivated with hands on carpenter abilities and attention to detail including strong organizational, planning and leadership skills. Very reliable with an excellent safety and attendance record, bringing forth expertise in team building and quality control management for each project.

He is a liaison with consultants, professionals, clients, and sub-contractors to ensure all contractual requirements are met prior to substantial performance. He is known best for his abilities in team management and blueprint interpretation.

As a Certified Red Seal Electrician, Matt has successfully worked on various residential and commercial projects. Matt is dedicated and experienced with strong customer service skills. He has a passion for delivering quality work, and as a Site Superintendent he will ensure the smooth running and timely completion of projects. By combining his technical abilities as an electrician, paired with the management skills of a site superintendent, Matt is your go-to friendly face to look out for on job-sites
Aakanksha is a MEng graduate with expertise in design of wood structures including single family homes, multifamily townhouses and apartment buildings. She has a strong knowledge of project management principles including consultant coordination, team management, resource allocation, scheduling, and blueprint interpretation. Aakanksha has coordinated and successfully completed numerous renovation projects including Bank TI's courthouses, and new office locations. She is well versed in managing projects with sites running full time 24/7.
